Pickleball at Black Desert Resort
Black Desert Resort introduces a world-class pickleball destination set against Southern Utah’s iconic red rock and lava field landscape. Designed for both spirited play and elite competition, the facility has 21 state-of-the-art courts, including a Championship Court with seating for up to 1,000 spectators, with future phases adding eight additional courts.
Open Play Is On Us
Pickleball at the Black Desert Courts is complimentary for all resort guests and members. Enjoy open play on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation required. Complimentary shuttles run hourly between the resort and courts between 7 a.m.- 6 p.m., and our on-site team is available to welcome you, assist with equipment, answer questions, and provide paddle rentals so you can step on the court and play with ease. Additional transportation is available on request from the front desk.

Championship Play Comes to Greater Zion
Black Desert Resort is proud to partner with the Professional Pickleball Association and Greater Zion to host the Greater Zion Cup, one of the most prestigious stops on the Carvana PPA Tour.
As one of only five Cup events worldwide, the Greater Zion Cup awards 1,500 ranking points, making it one of the most impactful tournaments on the professional circuit. The event will draw the sport’s top athletes and passionate fans from around the globe—cementing Black Desert Resort as a premier destination for championship-level pickleball.
